IL Beer and IL Politics - What Could Go Wrong?

PIC had the opportunity to sample some local beer and get the inside scoop on what's really happening in Springfield last week during the Valley Industrial Association's Executive Forum held at Penrose Brewing in Geneva, IL. Hard to say what was more interesting: hearing first-hand from our state politicians why we're in the hole we are in, or the Devoir saison.

The beer certainly helped wash down the sour taste in the mouths of the IL manufacturing executives in attendance who deal with some of the nation's highest worker's comp costs, year-over-year brain drain and struggling educational system on a day to day basis.

Representative Keith Wheeler and Senator Jim Oberweis broke down the dysfunction in Springfield, and fielded some tough questions.
